Lush Trip

Lush is something wonderful. If you love anything that smells good and anything bath or skincare: walking into Lush is pretty much like being a kid in a candy store all over again. All of their products smell amazing and they are vegetarian or vegan friendly. Unfortunately, my town does not have a Lush store which makes it a little hard to smell everything before I purchase. I do utilize the website though we can all agree its just never like being in the real store. So, every chance I get to go to Lush, I take it. This past weekend I finished my best friend who starts law school soon. Her town has a Lush (wink wink).

For this post I wanted to show the couple of items that were purchased as well as the one that was repurchased (yes Lush is that amazing).

First time Purchases:

Breath of Fresh Air Toner: First this stuff smells amazing. Additionally, it makes my skin feel super fresh after I get out of the shower. It has aloe in it so it’s good for when my skin maybe a little pink from the sun…living in Florida problems. My favorite part is it has rose in it. I have used their toners before and they’re always a good choice for anyone who wants something light, fresh, and animal friendly.

Charity Pot Body Lotion: Lush’s description of this lotion is perfect, “a philanthropic skin softener.” Its a wonderful smelling and moisturizing body lotion but the humanitarian aspect of it its part of the proceeds of each one goes to a different charity around the globe. It’s pretty cool! For example, the one I purchased went to a charity that focuses on spreading accurate information relating to the environment and global weather changes.

Bunny Moon Face Mask: Y’all I was so excited to purchase this. My friend had recently purchased one in a different scent so I became intrigued. This particular line of marks at Lush do not have to be refrigerated as there others do and it has a very jelly like texture. It has all the prime ingredients: honey, chamomile, rose, and vanilla! It helps sooth irritated skin which is great for someone like me may or may not sleep in their makeup sometimes.

Milky Bath Bubble Bar: Alright, I could not just go to a Lush store in person and not buy at least one bath item. That’s their claim to fame for some people! I decided on a bubble bar because they’re my favorite. They produce so many bubbles and the bath feels more fancy and *luxurious.* Additionally, I just moved out of my old house which did not have a bath tub and now I want to celebrate. Wahoo!

Repurchased:

Honey I Washed the Kids Soap: This is probably my fourth bar of this soap. I can’t help it I’m obsessed: it smells like sweet wonderful honey and caramel. I always get a big chunk of it every time I visit the store. It also has aloe in it which is another score.

See you next time, cheers!
